Zinnia Planting Guide

Zinnia 🌸

1. Choose a Planting Location:
Zinnias thrive in full sun 🌞. Choose a spot that gets at least 6 hours of sunlight daily for vibrant blooms.

2. Prepare the Soil:
Zinnias prefer well-drained, moderately fertile soil with a pH between 6.0 and 7.5 🌾. Work in organic compost to improve soil texture.

3. Planting Instructions:
Plant seeds 1/4 inch deep and space them 8-12 inches apart 🌍. For rows, space them 12-18 inches apart to allow room for the flowers to grow.

4. Watering Requirements:
Zinnias need moderate watering 💧. Keep the soil moist, but avoid waterlogging. Water at the base of the plant to prevent fungal issues.

5. Germination Time:
Zinnia seeds typically germinate in 7-10 days ⏳.

6. Ongoing Care:
Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering 🌸. Regularly remove any yellow or damaged leaves.
