Kale Premier Planting Guide

Kale Premier 🌿

1. Choose a Planting Location:
Kale thrives in full sun but can tolerate partial shade 🌞. Choose a spot that receives 4-6 hours of sunlight daily, with plenty of air circulation to avoid fungal diseases.

2. Prepare the Soil:
Kale prefers fertile, well-draining soil. Work in compost to add nutrients and improve soil structure 🌱. A slightly acidic pH (6.0-7.0) is ideal for kale growth.

3. Planting Instructions:
Plant seeds 1/2 inch deep and space them about 12-18 inches apart to give them plenty of room to grow. If planting in rows, leave 18-24 inches between rows 🌍.

4. Watering Requirements:
Kale needs consistent moisture to grow well, especially during hot, dry periods 💧. Water regularly to keep the soil moist but not soggy. Mulch around the plants to retain moisture and keep the soil cool.

5. Germination Time:
Kale typically germinates in 7-10 days ⏳. If growing in cooler temperatures, germination may take slightly longer, so be patient!

6. Ongoing Care:
Kale is a hardy plant, but it does benefit from regular feeding. Apply a balanced fertilizer every 3-4 weeks to encourage strong growth. Harvest outer leaves first, allowing the inner leaves to continue growing 🌿.
